Chichote

Name: Jorge Luis Bialta  Nickname: Chichote, basically knothead, he's got a permanent bump on his forehead.

Age: 20  Birthdate: October 22

Chichote has lived on the streets since he was 15.   He and Darwin have a great relationship and share lots of laughs.

Brian Alexander Rodriguez

Name: Brian Alexander Rodriguez

Age: 15  Birthdate: September 10

Brian has lived on the street for about a year.  I met him long ago when I was working at Jovenes en Camino.  I can't say that I remember him but he definitely remembered me.  He chose to leave Jovenes and I believe lived with his parents for a while before returning to the streets.  He is a sweet kid that occasionally tries to play the tough guy, causing fights and instigating problems but generally is just looking for love and approval.  This kid gets lots of my extra prayers and not a few of my tears. 

Alan Antoni

Name: Alan Antoni (when I asked him his last name he gave me random celebrities last names, he obviously didn't want me to know his last name.)

Age: 26  Birthday: October 31

Alan has lived on the streets since 15.  He is completely blind due to a gun shot wound through his head as a teenager.   He is from a wealthy family that had a time coping with his blindness and from then on he has lived on the streets.  He occasionally references seeing his mom so I think he still has contact with his family.  He has a great personality and sense of humor.  Definitely one of my favorites.

Hector Orlando Aguilera Perez

Name: Hector Orlando Aguilera Perez

Age: 24

Hector has lived on the streets since he was 7 years old.  He has one daughter that he doesn't have contact with.

Hector and I had a love/hate relationship at first.  He was one of our first regulars and a pretty likeable guy but he will beg, lie, and steal to get as much food as possible.  It took us about a month to get him into the routine of one plate, possibly two if there was enough.  But now he's great.  He loves to have his picture taken and swears he's related to every kid that comes by.
